We survived an existential threat in 2020, but American democracy continues to be at risk. Threats to our democracy destabilize all of civil society and create uncertainty in the business community, particularly the entrepreneurial ecosystem. Partisans on both sides are making business the enemy. We believe that the politics of today are increasingly threatening the rule of law, undermining free and fair elections, restricting voting access, and driving policy decisions that erode our democratic system, including prosperous business environments.
